TORONTO - Prices closed lower in moderate trading on Friday.

The two-year bonds were $0.11 lower at $101.02. Ten-year bonds were $0.10 lower at $103.75 and long-term bonds were $0.10 lower at $114.25.

The Government of Canada bond carrying a 5.75 per cent coupon and maturing in 2033, a barometer of long term borrowing cost, was at 4.148 per cent.

Day-to-day money was at three per cent.
