TORONTO - Prices closed higher in moderate trading yesterday.
The two-year bonds were two cents higher at $99.69. Ten-year bonds were eight cents higher at $102.58 and long-term bonds were six cents higher at $117.76.
The Government of Canada bond carrying a 5.75 per cent coupon and maturing in 2033, a barometer of long term borrowing cost, was at 3.94 per cent.
Day-to-day money was at 0.25 per cent.
