Woodstock Chamber is now accepting nominees for small business and women in business awards

The Greater Woodstock Chamber of Commerce is looking for nominations for its annual Small Business Week Awards.

Nominees can be entered into three categories – two Small Business Awards by the Chamber of Commerce and Woodstock Women in Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award by New Brunswick Community Business Development Corporations (CBDC).

These awards will be presented to businesses to celebrate their achievements in management, marketing, innovation, human resource development and community support within the Woodstock area.

The selection committee will be comprised of a member of the Greater Woodstock Chamber of Commerce board of directors/president, an employee of Enterprise Carleton Region, an employee of the New Brunswick CBDC and the two winners from last year's Small Business Awards.

Nominees will be evaluated business background, business growth, management, innovation, marketing and community support.

The call for all nominations will cease on Oct. 10 at 4:30 p.m.

The selected recipients will receive their award at The Greater Woodstock Chamber of Commerce Small Business Week and Women in Business Entrepreneur of the Year Awards ceremony on Oct. 22 at the Woodstock Golf & Curling Club.

More information and nominations can be submitted by e-mail to Sarah.corey@cbdc.ca or woodstockchamberofcommerce@nb.aibn.com.
