TORONTO - Prices closed higher in light trading on Friday.

The two-year bonds were $0.59 higher at $102.055. Ten-year bonds were $0.14 higher at $104.50 and long-term bonds were $0.40 higher at$118.70.

The Government of Canada bond carrying a 5.75 per cent coupon and maturing in 2033, a barometer of long term borrowing cost, was at 3.906 per cent.

Day-to-day money was at 2.25 per cent.
