TORONTO - Prices closed lower in moderate trading yesterday.
The two-year bonds were half a cent at $99.64. Ten-year bonds were 40 cents lower at $101.75 and long-term bonds were $0.80 lower at $115.87.
The Government of Canada bond carrying a 5.75 per cent coupon and maturing in 2033, a barometer of long term borrowing cost, was at 4.04 per cent.
Day-to-day money was at 0.25 per cent.
