TORONTO - The TSX Venture Exchange closed 17.32 points lower at 1,812.11 The volume at 4 p.m. was at 122.77 million shares.

Among the most active companies, MagIndustries Corp. (TSXV:MAA) fell $0.08 at $1.52, Century Mining Corp. (TSXV:CMM) $0.005 at $0.03; Stratic Energy (TSXV:SE) rose $0.02 at $0.56, Terra Energy (TSXV:TTR) $0.01 at $1.81.
